Asset Protection Training Course


Course Description: This two-and-a-half day course is designed to provide an in-depth knowledge of crime prevention and physical security techniques and procedures to help protect your assets. All attendees will be provided with training manuals and PowerPoint presentations. The CPAM Asset Protection Training Course (A.P.T.C.) includes conceptual crime prevention and physical security processes which include familiarization with hardware and procedures. Instructors will provide the students with in-depth knowledge on many relevant crime prevention and physical security issues. Staff and guest instructors will utilize lecture, active hands-on training, real world demonstrations, and in-class demonstrations providing real world experience. The course culminates with an informal graduation ceremony and presentation of certificates.

  • Instructor: Instructors in the CPAM A.P.T.C. training program are current and former law enforcement and security professionals with substantial experience in security and crime prevention working with such agencies as Homeland Security, Detroit Police Department, Wayne State University, Michigan Attorney General’s Office, Peel Regional Police (Ontario, Canada), American Red Cross, and the Crime Prevention Association of Michigan.
